Hey everyone. Was trying to organize some of my coins of interest today and rediscovered this 1999 P with some kind of die clash on the reverse. It's mostly around the U of United. But it also goes down into the O of One, through the LM, out to the I and C of America, and even up through E Pluribus Unum and S of A.. I can't get any decent pics. The ones I got took an hour already. I can't be sure, but it kinda resembles that Mule Clash found a while back. I'm wondering if anymore of them have turned up. Or if there are any other die clashes known for this mint that this might look like. Again, sorry I couldn't do better with the pics.

I think I see the areas you are talking about but not sure from the images what is going on.
If you are referring to the area south of the U (UNITED) that wouldn't be a normal place for a clash.

Here is a link to the One Cent overlays to give us an idea which obverse devices you think have clashed onto the reverse.

Looks like some clash marks. But the coin also looks painted.

The coin looking painted is just my bad phone camera and lighting. It's also probably some of that waxy stuff that pennies get. I wish I could get better pics. But if you're familiar with the mule clash a girl named Amy found, its very close if not that. I think.

Can you post a link to info on that clash you are referring to? (Amy's "Mule")

Also, can you place arrows on your image to show the area around the U (UNITED) you think are clash marks? That isn't a normal place for a clash to show up.
(I do see the other "normal" clash marks among the columns.)

EDIT: Found it. (Thanks Google)

IMHO, you'll need to provide clearer images to be able to tell.

ps. I don't think yours is one. The top of the U looks like there should be an inverted "V" pointing to the rim when looking at the Error-ref images. Without better images, I'm going to say yours is PMD from circulation.
