Does someone know when NGC started PL designation on 19th century gold? Date and/or cert number of start would be very helpful. If you have an older holdered NGC PL the cert number would also be useful. Thanks.

Well a bit if searching and found 2003 was when they started. But approx what was the registration number at that time?

I just did a quick search and the earliest cert # I found was an 1871 gold fractional that graded MS-64 PL (NGC 654964-014). But I don't know if they started to use that designation earlier for fractional gold.
