I would appreciate any grading opinions on this one, or if there is anything that seems off. I'm always suspicious of cleaning, my eye is not good enough to tell sometimes. Thanks!

I'll say EF-40, perhaps 45.

Minimal wear on the high points. You can see the crease in each point of the star. AU-53.

XF45 IMO. Nice detail left, but surface preservation seems a bit too low for an AU

Thanks everyone. When I look at this thing with the naked eye, it looks like a lower AU. But once I took the pictures and blew it up, I had doubts because it looks a bit more worn than what I could observe without magnification.

This may have AU sharpness (not everywhere, I would argue), but to me it just doesn't look AU.

I was at XF40 until I saw the reverse with the fins still on the C. AU55.

Sharper photos would show just how strong this coin is. Some strike weakness in spots which is normal for this type.
