I'd say AU-58 for the first coin, and MS-63 for the second. Not worth a whole lot above melt until you get to 65+

You paid 50 cents for those coins. The 1964 Kennedy's are 90% Silver. They should weigh 12.5grams which would be about 11.25 grams of silver, which is about a bit less than 1/3rd of a Troy Oz. At todays rate of $17.58 Troy oz, you have about $5.70 - 5.80 in silver value for each coin... If you tried to buy them, $8 - $10 would be a fair price to pay... You got a very good deal from the shop owner...

Yeah I bought those 15.00 worth Kennedy half dollars not silver and 5 Eisenhower 1 dollars for 21bucks. I figured these would be worth more then 8 bucks
