Hi all,
I'm preparing to send my first submissions to NGC UK. (the basic membership was very affordable.) Their offices in the UK have just opened to accepting postal submissions now. I have watched a few youtube tutorials but they all seem to be for the USA NGC, which has an online submission form which seems very straight forward. However, The UK NGC website does not seem to have an online submission form, just a link to a 'fillable PDF' submission form (Which I am sure I can fill in properly) My question is: After filling the submission forms in do I just print them and send them inside the package? In The USA the submission forms would be submitted online, but here we just print them without them knowing what they are receiving until they open the package? Also, there is a link to pay online, but how do they know how much I should pay? They just trust you know the figure from filling in the forms? Hope I'm making sense.

Another question, I've read that you can send coins inside plastic holders, is this true? Or should I get some specific plastic flips? Any tips would be appreciated. I'm sending Morgan dollars.

Thanks B Strauss.

I just want to say that NGC customer service is excellent. My submission hadn't updated online so I gave them a call, they confirmed they had received it and hadn't sent it yet as they thought because of the box size it was a lot of up to 100 coins in there! I'll send a smaller box next time! hah. He said rest assured it will be updated online shortly and they'll be starting the process today or tomorrow.

I always use the flips. Some plastic holders can be very hard to open, and the may get hundreds a day. Plus you're not going to get them back, so might as well use the cheapest option.

many thanks

Question - If, say, an expensive US coin was submitted to NGC in the UK, would it come back to the US for grading?
