Personally I would grade the first one AU and the second one a low grade of uncirculated (MS-60). However it's always hard to tell from photos, and others may disagree. An argument could also be made for grading the first one XF and the second one AU.

They look pitted, surface slightly erroded maybe even corrosion from a chemical bath.
I cringe when I see coins like that.

There's a older collector that sometimes I buy from, he loves cleaning his coins and some of his coins look like that.
When I tell him to stop cleaning his coins he gives me that look - I've been collecting longer than you and I know better.
