Well, it's not the big doubled die - the secondary ear would be completely separated from the primary ear. What I believe you have is a normal coin with a hit right on the earlobe.
It could take a year or more to start picking the good ones, and don't expect to find something around every bend. I can go through a 5,000 count bag and pull no more than a half dozen good coins.
