The reverse of your coin shows split plating, not a doubled die. The copper plating on the outside edges of the letters split apart creating what you are seeing as doubling. If you look closely you will be able to see that the surface of the coin is actually torn open everywhere you are seeing your doubling.
The pits and dings all over the coin are rock marks from when the coin was most likely run over in a parking lot. Save yourself some searching time and toss these aside before searching your group - it will keep you from being very sadly disappointed when you do find something that would be good and valuable except that the damage takes all value out of it. I don't even look at corroded or damaged coins for this reason. There are plenty of non-damaged coins to look at.
