My opinion, no. It will sell for $1-$3 dollars and it won't grade as high as coming direct out of the mint set.
Unless it grades PR70 deep cameo, which it won't since it circulated some, it will sell for around $10 dollars down to MS65. Not worth paying for the grading unless you want it for your collection and as a trophy for your find, Then it might be worth doing it... to you.
If you enjoy slabs in your collection - then go for it. But you would never be able to recoup the money you spend to get it slabbed. Being found in circulation (nice find!), your nickel never would be assigned a grade to justify the money you would have to pay to get it slabbed.
Cool find, but as others said, not worth sending in, IMO.
And correct, there was a type 1 and type 2. Yours is a type 1 filled. If I remember right, '81 also had a T1 and T2. No value difference between the two.
