Hi Everyone,
I recently won this 1875 5 cent in an European auction, with no description as to the variety. I bid according to the price of a small 5, but when I just got it today, it looks like a large 5? It has no distance between the bottom line of the 5 and the curve?
Does anyone know more about the variety, and could let me know as to which one it is?
Thanks in advance

I know very little about the Vicky 5 cent varieties. I suggest you study this comparison:

To me, the biggest visual that I see is the shape of the right top shape of the horizontal part of the 5, as well as the 5 being lower than the 187..

The variety is a large date vs a small date. It's not just about the 5. From the limited amount I can see it looks like a small date. I find this is a much easier variety to see looking at the whole coin as the large date really looks completely different as a whole side by side with a small date coin.
