I see more and more unkind words being exchanged recently then ever before. Some folks get easily upset and go on the attack mode if a topic is prolonged more than they expected or in their opinion the answer to the OP's question has been given so in their opinion there's no need for further discussion and they want to shut the topic down! But please don't forget the reason we all joined this great Forum, it is open to all folks from all walks of life and everyone is entitled to their opinion and free to ask as many question as they wish, there are no RIGHT or WRONG questions and no need for anyone to feel embarrassed by his/her topic and come back and apologize because another member made them feel that way. This is an open Forum folks! Please, lets treat one other with respect and kindness and if you don't like a topic for any reason, just don't go back to it,walk away from it, there are always numerous topics to read...
Peace

well stated. rattle your change nicely. i learn something new here every day. I love reading all the interesting stuff *everyone* brings to the forum. I love the camaraderie, that feeling of 'belonging' somewhere. I hope to be here a loooooong time. I also hope to meet many of you in person, sometime down the road. i like my ccf family and I want my ccf family to like me just the same. so, the golden rule applies here just as anywhere else: treat others as you would like to be treated (or something to that effect).

Well, I have to disagree. If the person posting will NOT accept the common consensus, as to the opinions of those that have far more knowledge, then why should they be allowed to continue an exercise in futility? How many posts should be allowed to them to keep repeating what the majority of us know to be false? If I tell you I have a genuine 1799-CC Trade $ in MS67, are you going to not reply? And when I state that it's legit, you expect me to NOT reply.... For the sake of new collectors.... Who will now buy that piece of junk because nobody disagreed....

suipakpaikungfu please take it down a notch.
Just because someone doesn't have as much knowledge as someone else, and disagrees with an expert, does not mean they should have their privileges revoked. Duplicate posts about the same coin are stopped by staff.
Be mature and don't bite at the bait. Back away from the conversation if you feel yourself losing control.
Self control is important when dealing with individuals that disagree with you, especially on a forum that is meant to be used as a respectful and appropriate platform. Learn to use self control.

@sui, you are allowed to have a contrarian opinion, but you are not allowed to mis-treat others at CCF. Folks come to us for opinions and we freely give these. They are not required to like or even agree with our opinions.
You seem upset by this topic, so consider taking a little time away to chill out. Then, please come back and continue to offer your opinions.
