A 1917 crown-sized silver peso from Uruguay. A relatively uncommon crown-sized coin featuring Jose Gervasio Artigas, the country's liberator. Beautiful coin!

Unfortunately, I think it has been cleaned, because the edge lettering is much darker and heavily toned than the clear, white surface.
