It is a stunning DDO with a strong spread on all lettering and date.PCGS certified as PR69 ( but not as DDO)
I think it is FS-106

That's an impressive DDO! It's always nice when a cherry-pick is already slabbed and in your case, in high grade! Great pick!

Variety Attribution: For an additional $18 per coin PCGS will attribute select varieties such as VAM, Overton, Fivaz-Stanton, etc. on select coin series.

Maybe someone did not pay for that. I don't think they missed anything

You have to ask for and pay extra for that.

I agree, and there are times that sellers submit a large batch and it can easily slip away and go unnoticed.
Thanks Daves Errors.

If it is not a FS number, then they wouldn't include it. I don't see a match on Wexler's or V.V files. This one is a Tripled die. Note the 'TR' on TRUST. Very promising as a new die number for V.V.

Well looking up more information on the 1971-S Dollar doubled dies, I found this note about these on the Wexler site:
1971-S-Silver-Proof-Ike-PCGS-Missed-DDO-Variety
http://doubleddie.com/356801.html
It was on the first page for that years doubled die section. I remembered something about this series, but didn't see if on the DDO site for the 1971-S DDO's. But sometimes we over look information. So it would probably be unnecessary to contact John about your find. While these are doubled dies, they are common because several dies all have the same doubling creating several dies with this doubling.
