Hi Everyone.. hope your day has been wonderful!

I have a 1982 small date zinc, with possible DDO / DDR ? I think that's the right term.. still learning.

Any thoughts or input is appreciated always! Thank you in advance!

Where on your coin might we see the effects of being a DDO or DDR?

Please provide us with close-ups (the same quality of your overall photos) of areas in question.

to the CFF!

First off I'm no "Mr." lol. There are more than just guys running around here, lol.

Please tell us what specifically you see, because I am not seeing anything. Perhaps a slight double ear lobe? Your photos are great, I think it's just my eyes (I've been painting all night, straining my eyesight). Could you tell us what you see with your coin?

I'm not seeing any evidence of doubled die occurrence. Please tell us where you believe it is. The coin shows some very light wear, which may account for some flattening. Photographic lighting conditions tend to suggest doubling on highly-reflective surfaces where there is none. Others will chime in.

NOTE 2 SELF ....
DO NOT POST AFTER DRINKING JAMESON & WATCHING 100 VIDEOS ABOUT 1982 COINS ON YOUTUBE AFTER MIDNIGHT ...

THANK YOU Merclover & ijn1944 for your comments.

I think ijn1944 comment is on point, glare/lighting + inexperience, JAMESON & 100 1982 YouTube videos contributed to my thoughts & hopes for a DDO or DDR ...

I assume it's best to add this one to my "spend jar".

Thank you both & ill keep hunting!

(MERCLOVER, I'm GLAD TO KNOW MANY WOMEN ENJOY COINS HERE TOO)

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EVERYONE!!

Correct me if I'm wrong... This site is for collectors (first), Not chasing the dollar but keeping in view. We choose to collect for the art or the oddity at most. Choosing to leave some sort of history/legacy to those who follow.... just a thought.
