IndianGoldEagle & Ty2020b? You guys nailed it. CLEANED. No TrueView to post and it is being sent back. It's a shame whoever did that cause in-hand it was a nice coin. It really is.
But not discouraged on this one. Disappointed yes. I knew the possibility existed. Got this from same dealer as the 1917 FB that did grade. This coin did have luster and cartwheel. I just agreed that no way of knowing if cleaned, but really thought it would be fine, though again, looked like the 1917 to some degree which graded.
Merclover.....You are corrct. No more novels. Just post. I figured since pictures lack some features I would help by noting them. But you are correct. Future coins? I will shut up and just post.
KYcoppercoins....Pictures are my challenge. But like I said to Merclover....I will just post, stay quiet, until you folks give an unbiased opinion. Pictures I am still working for better clarity as you noted.
Macmercury....like I told you in ths chain, either it was goin to be a bust or maybe a good day. Lol. Well...we know the answer to that. The $250? Lesson learned. Still have no idea what was used to clean it? Looked fine in-hand. Maybe acetone? But that does not hurt coins. Correct? Meh. I did nothing to it, or any other coin, because I would surely ruin them. Have zero interest in even knowing how to clean a coin. Thought about it for about a half a second. Lol. Nope. So, most I paid for a coin and that was a couple years ago. I won't starve.
.
I have more surprises coming but I will wait until they get here.
Grapecollects nailed my 1925 50C Commemorative Stone Mountain. Most of you commented on it. Go check out my Trueview and grade on that one. And my comments. That one IMO is a head shaker. But again, Grapecollects sorted it out on the Technical side, though I still think it is a real head scratcher. Worth a look. See what you think.
