Morgan 1885P Toned and what I believe is a VAM-1C pitted reverse. The pics are about as good as I can get them. The third pic is through a loope trying to capture the raised pits under the fletches.
Heavy toning makes it difficult for me to grade or confirm the VAM. I'll report back the findings but would like the opinion of the members in the meantime. nlp

Looks at least choice MS63 but what's going on with the reverse rim? Above "STATES" and next to "UN...."

And P.S. Where's the Merc?

bherring1964, The rim has a scuff that's been toned over. I suspect it is bag rattle. Must of been near the bottom of the bag when the guard dropped it on his foot. Hope it hurt!
