Hello, I am new to this forum, but I'd appreciate some feedback from collectors.
Years ago, my Grampa, an avid coin collector, gave the grandkids rolls of uncirculated dollars and
State Quarters he would get from the bank when they were issued. Now I am not sure what to do with them. I am not a coin collector, and have no sentimental attachment to these.
The rolls of dollars are from the 2010s, paper wrapped, with each a coin visible on each end. From what I can see, they look to be in excellent condition.
The rolls of
State Quarters are also wrapped in paper, 1 roll per state, some are "P", some are "D", and some are not labeled either way. A couple of the rolls are in less than mint condition, but most are in excellent condition.
Is there any collectable value to these coins?
I hate to just take them to a bank, it seems a shame to put uncirculated coins into circulation if someone else wants them.
I appreciate any thoughts from the coin collecting community.
Thanks!
