1996 Error Penny- What Is This About?

mollythecat New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 06/29/2020 3:15 pm Hello my Uncle gave my son this error penny years ago and I forgot about it until I found it buried in a drawer- can anyone tell me if this is rare? worth anything or just something to keep in a drawer as an oddity? If you had put this into a 2X2 years ago, the value would have been more than it is now. But you might try looking on ebay to see what they are selling for. Click on watch on them and get about 10 to figure out an average for them. That might give you a better idea for value. But a real keeper. Report this Post to the Staff

This is one good example of both an off-center strike and a rotated die. EDIT: I just realized that it isn't die rotation. Just an off-center strike.
