Not sure about this one. I've been waiting for someone else to reply to this topic for quite some time. Guess I'll continue to wait, sorry I can't be of much help, I honestly have never come across one like this.  |

Above the building looks like a die guge,seen it more than once in the past. The 7 might be MD or maybe die abrasion? John1  |

Agreed, it just doesn't look like a die gouge to me, from what I've seen on the forum and my own experiences, it just looks too flat for one.

Looks like die damage to me. It is raised, so something altered the die. Nothing else is affected, so it is not a hub issue. So a die gouge makes sense to me. A incuse mark on the die, leaving a raised area on the coin.

Interesting. I suppose I'm not used to seeing die gouges looking like this. I'll take a note on this one.
