Hello. I have a circulated 1983 Denver minted penny with a blob of extra material next to the date on the front of the penny. Does this add value? See photo below. Advice appreciated

Hm I'm having a hard time seeing it. I know what you're talking about but a closer image is needed.

With those photos, my guess is either a stain or Split Plating Doubling, which is extremely common and adds no extra value.

In conclusion, just another circulated coin, not worth anything besides 1¢.

Thank you for the wanted error list. I'm not sure if this is a better photo or not, taken with iPhone 11 camera through a 30x lens .

Oh I see it now. I was looking at something different.

Looks like a small die chip. It doesn't add any value cause it's too small and minor, but you can keep it if you want for an example.
