Over my decades of collecting Canadian coins, I am truly thankful for the many Canadian friends I have made. In these days of self-isolation, I really miss heading north for a coin show or two each year.

Normally I'd be in International Falls. But am stuck down here in Texas heat.

I love to fish Rainy Lake which is on the border. But last I heard USA folks could still not cross the border. I often would go by boat into Canadian waters. No coin shows in that neighborhood but I do like my Canadian buddies and the old coins from Canada.

I participated in the first International tug-of-war. They stretched a big rope across the river and teams on both sides tried to drag their opponents into the water. It was a hoot. Here is a video of some os the action:
