Hey Guys and Gals,

I was going through some pocket change recently and I noticed I had two 1969-D Lincoln Cents and I noticed they look slightly different on the front side.

The key takeaways - Coin on the Right. You'll notice where the letter "D" is positioned and the size of Lincoln's nose, it seems to be shaped smaller?

Are these coins normal? Are they worth to pay for grading graded?

Any and all comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Mint mark positions will vary on many older coins..Depending on the total number of dies used, for a date run, as older dates the mint marks where hand done on the dies, so there is a bit of wiggle room as to where the mint mark ended up..

@silverwolf - Gotcha! Is it me or does the "9" in 1969 seems bit longer? ... Hummm. I wonder if this is a bootleg coin?
