Hi guys,
I'm new here, and I'm a US coin collector living in the Netherlands. I particularly collect half dollars, and got this Capped Bust 1834 in my collection.

Now, what you need to know is, it's very hard to obtain US coins here, so if I can get my hands on anything, I will try to get it. I have some nice commemoratives as well, a lot coming from the USA through Ebay(should anyone like to help me out on the rest of my halves, I'd be grateful!).

How about this one, anyone care to take a look if it's genuine, and if so, which grade should it be about? It weighs 13.54 grams.

Thanks in advance and regards!

A big USA fan!

Looks like a genuine large date, small letters. Hard to tell if it's been cleaned in the past, but it looks like a solid VF-35, possibly even XF.

Weight is correct, Large Date style looks correct. Likely cleaned. Awaiting Grape's reply.

Seeing the reputation of the seller, I couldn't imagine that it was a fake though... I wonder what an example like this would cost in the US, any ideas?

Also curious to hear the viewpoint from Grapecollects..
