Yes, I think it is a gas bubble but my question is the mark "D" is double die if it is a real then it would be very rare because I looked at online for similar but I did not find it.

Not a doubled die,not an RPM because RPM's stopped in 1990.Zinc rot on the mint mark. Also has a bad finger print. John1

John, thank you! But why this coin printed bad with double "D" mark in 1992 penny?

Mint mark appears to have a plating rupture in very close proximity to it, giving the appearance of a doubled die issue--given the quality of the photos posted.

Agree the lower "D" is not a mintmark but rather something that resembles one caused by plating and circulation issues. to the CCF!

It can happen on any copper plated zinc core cent. It occurred more in the beginning, when the mint started minting copper plated cents,1982. John1

with John1. That coin is destroyed from zinc rotting and other major problems. Sorry.

All points covered except for one. "The Cause." The cause of the whole issue with this coin started right at the time it was struck. The plating was split. The zinc was exposed to oxygen. The zinc started rotting and in a few more years. this coin will be a copper colored Hershey's kiss wrapper.
