Hello all,

This quarter looks like it's been through the wringer. I am pretty sure this quarter has a die chip on Washington's brow. I need help determining what is PMD and if this is worth anything more than face value.

I look forward to your responses.

Unfortunately, I think everything seen there is PMD. It looks like it may have been subjected to high heat. Max value is $0.25.

The bubbles on the obverse are solid and do not depress when poked and the reverse does not show any depression indicating that the damage goes through. I am not sure if that changes your opinion but I thought I should add that piece of info.

Unfortunately it difficult to tell much about your quarter other than it has been the victim of some sort of post mint damage ( PMD), not a mint error and no premium due to the damage. Good news is it's still worth face value of 25 cents. Sorry. Keep searching!

@fomc, thx adding that info about the bubble feeling solid, but I still agree with @spruett. We see these so-called campfire coins with some frequency.
