Hey folks, I was looking through a few new rolls of 2020 P nickels a came along a few of these, I checked Coop's pics to see if it was a die strike but couldn't line any thing up. As you will see there is a raised line starting in United traveling over to States on the reverse of the coin as well as a small, looks to be die chip on the left side of the building. Any help if it's anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Conan

A raised portion would indicate a Die Scratch IMO

1. If it is a die crack it would be raised and be showing on the tops of the devices. I think I see it on some. If so, then is is a die crack.
2. If the line doesn't not flow over the tops of the devices, then it could be a die scratch. Both would be raised on the coin, but the die scratch would flow behind the devices.
3. If it flows over the tops of the devices and fields, it is incuse, then it would be coin damage.

Thanks, I found several coins in this box exactly the same so I would guess a die scratch and chip. Thanks
