Hi all

I got away from pennies for a bit today and decided to look back through my old silver (and silver-colored) coins. I've had these for years and I have a lot of circulated business strikes of Kennedy halves - I also have silver '64's, 64 Proofs, etc...but I found TWO that stood out to me - now that I know a bit more about what I am looking at - THANKS TO THIS FORUM -

This is the first.

Although I believe that this is probably Machine Doubling on the lips - that doesn't explain the eye to me. Additionally, the reverse strike is very deep compared to my other Kennedy coins.

All opinions are welcome. Thank you!

Looks like a high bounce of MD on the lip area. The bounce when right over the head of the other devices on the coin.

Would that explain the eye as well? And even if jut MD - would there be any premium on a coin in this condition?

I don't think such a minor error would bring any premium at all, but you can check ebay's sold listings to see.
