People are bidding on it. Lol why not after all it was unearthed from (the) flea market in Berlin. You know the mint just throw those mistakes in the trash. That person is really lucky to have unearthed other mules. Maybe he checks their trash a lot. I want the 67 Kennedy with 79 Lincoln now that's a major find. Sad that this is aloud. Sad buyer beware.

Anyone notice the seller lives in Poland? Interesting "error" IF it was real, which I am sure it is not.

I didn't see how it could be real. It's sad that people buy these without the knowledge of what it really is.

The bid is up to $25.05+ $40. With 17 bids. Just wondering how many mule errors that person has sold?

Looks like the money is in fake dies, not mint errors. If you know even the basics of the minting process you can see that the coins they sell are fakes made outside of the mint. Sad.

Here's another coin for sale on ebay from bebniarznumismatic. Can someone from CCF have this sellers item pulled? They sold one coin like this for more than $1500! Quote: A mule coin, with 1 cent obverse and 1 $ Eisenhower 1972 minted on 1 dollar. Message for buyers: I don't know if the mule coin was made inside or outside the mint. In any case, the original matrices were used, as can be seen. I think that this is not a conscious production of the mint, but someone who had access to the original matrices, and therefore could pass the time - unless it was a mistake in the mint - we will not find out. In my opinion, most mule coins were created in this way, which does not mean that there were no errors in the mint and such coins were simply thrown away. I suppose $ 1 was on the original matrix and a matrix of 1 cent was stuck in it. You buy what you see and with proper awareness, and the polemic of the type "did not arise in the mint, so I come back" does not make sense. I am asking for reasonable shopping so as not to expose each party to unnecessary costs. A coin from my own collection that has long been in my possession as a curiosity. I have a large collection of mule coins from around the world and unfortunately I have to sell a few due to the situation. You can bid and try traditionally from $ 1. Free shipping with purchases over $ 500.
