I agree with Bherring that this coin has more appeal than many slabbed MS-62 coins.
The photos don't really show the luster but for AU gold coins the luster usually remains strong in the protected areas around the stars and letters while luster and color become dull in the open fields. This eagle has clear, bright color in the protected areas and much of the fields match that color. It might actually be a mint state coin, and if so the clean fields could earn an MS-63 grade. If there is strong cartwheel luster across the fields I would be tempted to have it graded. If it did make MS-63 at PCGS or NGC the potential sale price would take a pretty big jump.
