came across this 1983 LMC and have two questions, on the reverse it looks like doubling on the 7th pillar(raised area) to the right of the statue, and on the obverse looks like double chin?

The bar cents didn't happen during these years. These are the multi hub dies. So, note the weakness of the statue? I feel the cololum was altered during the polishing. so it is a die event, die damage with a gouge into the recess edges of the column.
