I am not having a good ebay day. First the 83 CC Morgan, now this lol, can anyone tell me what this is? This blob is NOT on the outside of the case, nor does it reallay appear to be on the coin. Never seen anything like it.

Would you return it?

I'd be inclined to return it unless you got a heck of a value. It's always going to be an issue.

farrider11- Fortunately or unfortunately, only you are the best person to determine what it is or isn't. How much of a window do you have the return it? Can you take it to a LCS or dealer and have it checked out?

Here is a picture of the obverse, but my first thought was what Coinfrog posted, I didn't catch it in the initial auction pictures (My Bad, need to be a little more meticulous) It wasnt a great deal, but below PCGS book, it had some eye appeal, so ........

It's got to be something on the inside of the slab...not seeing any affect to the edge from the obv. pix

Probably on the slab. I'd send it back and request that seller return it to PCGS for reholdering. Once he gets it back and coin looks clean, you can complete the transaction.
Rest in Peace

Half joking, but I think maybe somebody at PCGS spilled some coffee while on their coffee break. Shouldn't have gotten past their quality control.

I think it's on the coin judging from the other spot below the L.
