Thank You All! I'm still learning and the Kennedy's do confuse me sometimes. The notching on a lot of the letters had me wondering. I do need to remember coop's advice on not looking too close up, I think that makes me see things that are not really there. Thanks!

It looks like reflection and glare doubling to me, not a DDO. |

I'm not convinced. I'm seeing notches all over these letters and numbers. So you guys are saying these notches are just reflections and glare? @HumblePie- The grade doesn't look that bad. Use some acetone on those carbon spots on the obv. I would consider submitting it.    Edited by USSID18

USSID18...If you enlarge the full obverse photo in the OP's post you will see there is no actual notching on the elements you just pointed out.
