Cracked open a BU Roll of 1990 D LMC and there is a BIG FG and a SMALL FG Is this odd or planned? and the bays are a little different over Lincoln The roll has a MIX of both Anyone .

Worn die issue. See the area near the rim with the fat FG,IMHO.

Over polished die issue. Note the statues? One if not as high above the fields. That tells me that the fields are reduced. Thus reducing the height of one set of devices. They were both the same when they were new. But because of the polishing, one now looks smaller than the other. Not a doubled die.
