So I saw this in a bag of cull British half pennies for 50¢ and I had a feeling it wasn't British and was some form of "crude" token. Right I was and from what I've been able to find this token is a BL-40. However there are apparently different varieties for this type and I was wondering if someone with more knowledge could tell me which one mine would be, or whereabouts in would look to find out.

Any input on grade would be nice as well, I guess VG-8 (considering it was probably quite "worn" from the get go) but I am obviously not an expert when it comes to these.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like BL-40 to me. BL-40A1 is medal turn while A2 is coinage. Tough to grade but G-VG is about right. Cat is C$75 for A1 in VG; C$100 for A2.

Great buy for 50 cents!

Thank you so much. So since it has the medal alignment it would be 'BL-40 A1'?
