JM Bullion is not the company of yore. I paid for $430 of silver rounds and never received them.

Wrong address, lost in shipment, to get them covered by their insurance you need a police report #, a postal inspector theft report, yada yada yada.

Weasels.

I have no experience to disparage JM but expect stories like this to increase in frequency. There has never been a massive PM rally that has not been accompanied by subsequent retail fraud upon the public.

These include but not limited to:

"Your stuff is in the mail."
"Your check is in the mail."
"We keep your stuff safe right here in our vaults."

If the address on the package was correct and it was delivered to the wrong address, the seller may well not be the problem. The USPS is delivering some signature-required packages without signatures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here's the USPS FAQ on this:

Will there be any modifications to Certified Mail or mail requiring signature deliveries with customers? If so, how will this be supported?

One significant measure being implemented is a temporary modification to mail handling procedures for mail that requires customer signatures. We recognize the close proximity and additional handling that occurs when employees must ask customers for a signature and government issued identification when required. To reduce health risks, we are temporarily modifying customer signature capture procedures. Effective immediately and until further notice, our employees will follow the temporary process below for signature service items. This process applies to all letter carriers:

Avoid ringing the doorbell when possible. Knock on the customer's door. Avoid areas that may be frequently touched when knocking.

While maintaining a safe, appropriate distance, employees will request the customer's first initial and last name.

For increased safety, employees will ask the customer to step back a safe distance or close the screen door/door so that they may leave the item in the mail receptacle or appropriate location by the customer door.

If there is no response, employees will follow the normal Notice Left process.

If there are delivery points on the route where social distancing recommendations are difficult to follow, alternative delivery methods can be explored. (Industry Alert - 3/20/20)

I have ordered multiple times from JM Bullion. One time I had a postal related problem. JM Bullion bent over backwards until the problem was resolved. They are the first place I go for bullion.

You can not get a better reply than the company reply on CCF thread.

Very refreshing to see JMBullion reply opening on forum.

I'm sorry, my reply was juvenile.

I went through customer care and I'm still sore. The hoops are numerous and they itch to shoot you down for a misstep.
I shouldn't need to go to this forum for resolution.

I am SO done with them.

Although they are not my first choice when looking to purchase bullion, my purchases from them have been no problem and I would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future.
