Hello,

I was going over my pennies and I came across this one, it shifts in colour in the light at different angles. However, I'm also thinking that it could just be environmental, like some oil or grease got onto it.

What do you guys think?

I tried to get pictures of the colour in different light, but my camera couldn't focus because it was so shiny

Its a form of toning--the result of an environmental agent acting on the surfaces of the coin. Not uncommon. Many will argue over how the agent was introduced--deliberately/consciously done through human action, or just exposure without human hijinks.

Copper can take on almost every color of the rainbow under different environmental conditions.
