If this is the deal I think it is, then I missed $1,000 in free money by about two hours...

Or am I missing something here?

Pretty sure the sale will be cancelled shortly for some loophole reason. That makes no sense. If it stands and the coin is genuine, someone is super lucky.

Could be a technicality, but I was surprised by this one because it showed up when the "Sold Items" filter was on (not just "Completed Items"). The serial number checks out on PCGS. And the seller has good feedback. Doesn't look like there was a reserve, either.

I guess I'll have to just start putting in low-ball bids for all the auctions and see if I can get something like this one.

Refreshed the search, and it looks like a best offer was accepted (though that still isn't showing on the item page). Didn't know you could auction something and fish for offers at the same time... Hmm.

Someone made a decent offer for the coin and the seller accepted it. Item was then marked as "no longer available' and auction removed. Last bid was $71 but most likely not the selling price. (my opinion)

It does have some weirdness to it though...

What Foxwoods said. One of the coins I bought, the ebay page states the last offer, which was not what I paid.

LOL! I saw that yesterday too and wanted to comment on it but I couldn't get the website to open.

no idea what went on, but I think maybe listed wrong then shenanigans to clear it up somehow or something.

the seller has others priced right I think to move, so I'm thinking they left off a zero at the end of $71 and didn't catch it.
