Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon a lot of 49 coins that included 5 commemorative half dollars from the 20s and 30s (one is Hawaiian). None of them are graded. From the pictures it looks like they have been circulated so AU at best. I expect them to be here Saturday. I've been trying to figure out where to sell the commemoratives to get the best money out of them. I looked on ebay, but it doesn't look like those coins hold any interest on there. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ummmmm, the issue with commemoratives is that there isn't a lot of interest in the current modern stuff. The Hawaii one has a lot of value though. Before you put these up for sale, can you post pictures here? I would feel more comfortable commenting after I see what you have. If its modern items, the best advice maybe to hold on to them.

Huge exposure on ebay so if there is no interest there then that says a lot.

This is the 1928 Hawaiian Sesquicentennial. Sorry, I'm not sure how to reply directly to a specific person, this is the second time I've posted on here.

The Hawaii one is the most valuable, but I honestly don't know much about the older commemoratives. If the Hawaii one is real its worth over $1000. Sorry, I'm not much help with these.

Please provide images of each coin, obverse and reverse, individually so that each can be better assessed.
That said, we may be looking at some counterfeit pieces.

If you look closely at the reverse of the Hawaiian, you can see the word "COPY" stamped into the coin above "E Pluribus Unum." That answers any questions for that one!
