Very Strange 2 Tin Pennies! - Coin Community Forum

I discovered that 2 coins at coin dealer that he told me that he had no idea about these crazy pennies from 1959-D and 1973. I researched myself on Google about these coins that almost there had no information anything about these crazy pennies. It is so puzzled that I never seen it before! However, his answer to you leads me to believe he either doesn't know what he's doing, or he's being intentionally deceptive. He should know if they were plated or not but maybe just doesn't care. There may be some deals there hiding that he doesn't know about, like die varieties if you do the work and pick em up on the cheap. Report this Post to the Staff

The one in the middle of the picture appears to have a blob of solder on it. I used to have a well circulated 1944 penny like this that definitely turned out to be coated with solder. How do I know?
