1941 S Wheat penny Mint Mark Error Please Help Me With Insight On This Interesting Error.
Can anyone please help me identify to the best of their ability what type of Error this is, I if they have seen any similar mint mark errors. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you everyone!

Mintmarks were hand punched into the dies all the way up until 1990, when they were included in the master dies themselves.

Being a hand punched mint mark, I don't believe this is (was) an error. Back in the day, mint mark location (and angular rotation) would vary some.

Wow, that is great to know. I'm fairly new and still learning so I appreciate those facts. Now I may be reading to far into it, but is it possible that it is a 'S/D's error or are my eyes playing tricks on me. Once again thank you for any input.

I see a normal S mintmark that is just rotated a little from the hand punch.

Normal mint mark punch, no S/D I'm afraid. Still a nice find! Wheaties are getting harder and harder to find these days!

Those are pretty crazy. I think its neat and would save it just to show people.

The S mint marks in that year can have the tops and bottoms touching the middle as the die wears.

Nice angle on the mintmark though. I'll be looking for a BU example of that die.
