Hello! I am a new collector and still learning, but I believe I have found a 1992 D Close AM. Does the rarity on these still hold? I am planning on having it conserved a graded, but the information I can find pn this variety seems quite dated. Thanks for your help and input!    |

Holy cow! Is it rare? Heck yes! Not worth conservation but 100% worth grading! There are only 15 known and in this condition worth ~$2200!

Thanks for the information! I looked it over dozens of times to verify, but still a newer collector and thought I might've missed something. Easily the star in my fledgling collection!

If this coin is real, you are sitting on a small fortune. I would like to see a closer view of the "FG" initials on the reverse. If real, you could be looking at a several thousand dollar coin.

It doesn't happen often, but it is always great when a newbie comes in claiming to have a rarity and we get to tell him "Yes, yes you do!" All too often we just burst bubbles.

A close up pic of the FG will for sure offer confirmation, but everything looks extremely promising so far! Great find!
