I usually toss as soon as I see any damage like the ones on jacket. Don't even flip it. Just on to the next but something caught my attention soon as moving away from scope. To bad. I'll keep just because.

It is a doubled ear. So save it until you get a better one, then pass it on down to a new collector.

I also rarely look at an off-grade coin. But some are good varieties and you scored one here. It's really not worth looking at lousy coins, over time, but some will have a good variety and if you catch it all is good.

Congrats on the find, as it's a tough one in any condition.
