Hi everybody I'm a brand new member only about a year into coin hunting/collecting. I came upon a old jar of coins and found this is there, I know it's not in the best condition but I'm hoping this might be a 1969S double dye.
Fingers crossed hopefully someone can help me out & tell me if it's a treasure or trash lol...

We see this quite often here, yes it is doubling but Machine Doubling and sorry to say your cent is only worth face value

I'm going to have to disagree with GF on this one.

That is certainly MD, but it has a little bit of a premium IMO. I've seen a few of these sell for a little bit. Sometimes if MD is extreme enough, like this coin, you can perhaps find the right buyer. Some collectors like extreme examples of MD.

On these, forget looking at the dates, look at Liberty and the motto instead. Then you will see that yours is not the big DDO:
