I voted dime to get rid of FDR. And reading this thread, our new president should read it... because - according to his boring speech last night - he believes FDR did great things and did not prolong the Depression.

To the person that did not think Hitler was a socialist, the Nazi party was the shortened name of ... the National Socialist Part.

anyway, all coinage should be symbolic figures... enough with this glorifying leaders and their politics. Washington was the best we had, and he thought no one should have their face on a coin.

I voted for the half because Liberty is such a beloved figure it may recharge the collecting of halves...and maybe bring about new pride in American coins (the symbol of freedom).

I keep saying to bring back Liberty on the coins. It would be nice to experience 'her' on our coins. Switzerland still does it, why can't we?

1) Reagan should be put on the dime.

2) The half dollar should be used for commemoratives. (As done in the past)
