Half Dollar because I don't collect them. A major design change like the one you propose on 1, 5, 10 and 25 Cents coins would, to me, be a good reason to stop collecting that denomination. I don't wish to start any new or newly designed series.

With the government bailing out everybody and their brothers, I think Coindexter has the right idea, but he did not go far enough. Make the 2 and a half, 5, 10 and 20 coins. Then make additional paper of 250 and 500. On the coins remove all portraits of real people and replace with symbols of the country. Lady liberty could go on the dollar, turkey on the half. Eagle, Indian.... Gee I could go on,  |

I have been sitting here watching the markets over the passed few months and so much of it compares to 1929. Its actually pretty scary. I'm just glad I have my coins Even though I think the market for their valves is going to drop over the next year but I started in the bullion market and got pulled into the hobby..lol. I just love collecting that even a depression will not stop me!  Maybe the US will go back to putting real metal in our circulated coins  A new Liberty Half dollar! |

Quarter for me. But it is almost a sacred symbol. Though I love the design so much, it might lose some of its nostalgia like the buffalo did recently.. Anyone agree or disagree?

She is on the reverse of the Presidential dollars as the statue of liberty but no one has made a new rendering of her on the obverse of a coins in a very longtime |

Put her on all of them. Heck...Start putting her on the paper money too.
All the presidents have problems other than maybe Washington and Jefferson. I never hear anything negative about him. The others were not prefect...Liberty is a symbol hard to attack liberty if you are an American.
