I am a new member with a Quarter I have had since 2001. 2001-D Rhode Island Statehood Quarter that is magnetic. The edge has no clad look at all. Looks Proof like. MS 65 or better. is this an Error? Should I have it Graded?

to CCF. It has been plated, probably with nickel after it left the mint. So it is PMD and not an error..

Plated coin. Silver quarters were only made for some of the proofs in this series.

HSN throw back. If you could split through the plating on the edge between the reeds, you will see it was plated over a normal coin.
