Am I the only one that sees the split on the tail of the 9?

Looks overly thick as well.

I'm not seeing any split, maybe just some reflection. Not seeing any extra thickness or widening of the date. Normal 1974.

Pretty sure this is just a regular 1974 large date. The large dates look like class VI doubling that year. Not sure if it's a master die doubling issue or just the way the numbers were designed.
