Take a look at a hundred dimes. coins that are not that worn and coins that are not struck with a worn die look like that. All of them:-) Thats what the design of his eyelid looks like on a normal coin:-) There is no doubling.

Yup, exactly.

One of the very first lessons to learn about searching through coins for varieties is that when you think you've found something just set it aside, then look at hundreds of other coins from the same year. You might have found something if none of the other coins look like the one you pulled out, but in this case you would have found that all the others are exactly like this one.

One more look, than I'll give up. There seems to be a split serif on croslet of 4 and top of 4 all along left side? Also top and bottom. I do not have an arrow on bottom or top, but you can pretty much see it between the top & bottom 2 arrows.

I don't see it. A listable doubled die wouldn't take so much effort to see or photograph. Sorry.
