Speaking of fake Cleopatra Thea and Antiochos VIII coins, here's one I posted on Forum's Fake Coin Reports, showing an absolutely bizarre mash-up of an obverse Parthian (!) tet of Gotarzes II, and a Seleucid reverse of Cleo/Antiochos. As if that's not bad enough, it is being sold as genuine, for a high price, by an infamous New York "gallery." Report this Post to the Staff

The seller had other coins which appeared to be correctly attributed, but this one was listed as: "Cleopatra Thea & Her Son, Antiochus VIII Coin - Queen of Syria 125-121 BC I don't have any information on this coin apart from my own research online, see below.
