Schoon to CCF: Looks like you have a Dryer Coin Tends to mess them up spinning around and around in the heat and rubbing on the metal drum. Have a look at some other damaged coins you might run in to coin hunting.http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/pmd.html

Looks like it was (before the dryer episode) a Texas Cent.

When they are squeezed to enlarge them, the plating falls off the coin. So it the coin now it normal in size, then that may have happened?
